Mario Piperni makes the cover of NewMax

Mario Piperni's work has been featured on Rightardia numerous times. He is an architect by trade and makes excellent illustrations and political videos.

He is hardly right wing. but good art is good art, a shortfall in right wing world. This is  because of the stance conservatives have taken toward artists and musicians for many years.

Rightardia Middle East wrap-up

The MPR-500 is in the brown and white ordinance in the background

Israel has developed an improved precision, bunker-burrowing weapon which Israeli Military Industries (IMI) unveiled during peak US-Israel friction over a strike against Iran.

The 500-pound MPR-500 is an electro-optical bomb that can penetrate double-reinforced concrete walls or floors.

The US supplied GBU-28 is 5,000 pound bomb and would certainly be more effective than a 500 pounder.

Accrding to Defense update, Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI) announced that the Boeing Company has approved IMI’s 500-pound Multi Purpose Rigid (MPR 500) Bomb as compatible with the low cost Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) guidance kit.

Israel is also expanding its tanker fleet. The US has offered to supply 4 more Boeing 707 tankers which would give Israel a total of eight tankers.

Apparently four of the US 707 tankers that were provided to Israel in the past are inoperative.

Rightardia is still convinced that an Israeli air raid on Iranian nuclear facilities would be ineffective without extensive US strategic bomber and tanker support.

We suspect that Obama's refusal to provide this support that could cause a regional middle eastern war is what is angering the Israelis.

Newsmax is suggesting that an Israeli attack on Iran would be joint operation that used missiles, warplanes, drones, and special operations forces.

Israel would attack Iran with its Jericho missiles and Iran would respond with its Shahab 3 missiles.

In a related development, UK Prime Minster David Cameron said:

I don't think the Israelis should take that action now. We told them they shouldn't and said we wouldn't support it if they did. We've been very clear.

NewsMax appears to be endorsing Newt Gingrich

Newt 2012
Dear Friend and Supporter,

Newt 2012All the work we've done over the course of this campaign has led us to this: the South Carolina primary. You and I both know that this country needs Speaker Gingrich's bold leadership and conservative solutions now more than ever. Barack Obama has added more to the federal deficit than every President before him - combined! He's leading this country down a path of more government and less freedom, and we need a real Reagan conservative to help rebuild the America we love.

The South Carolina primary is make or break for this campaign. If we're going to makeSpeaker Gingrich President Gingrich, a win in South Carolina is of the utmost importance! We have just 6 days remaining to spread Newt's message of bold solutions in the Palmetto State, and in order to reach as many voters as possible we must raise $1 million by January 21!

Your support has never been more urgent. Please make a donation to Newt's South Carolina Victory Fund today!

Thank You,

Adam Waldeck
Newt 2012
South Carolina State Director

Newmax: Cain losing female GOP voters in Iowa

A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll shows Herman Cain is still ahead in the crucial state of Iowa, but his lead over Mitt Romney is decreasing.

Thirty one  per cent of Iowan men say they will vote for Cain, but only 16 per cent of women.

InsiderAdvantage head Matt Towery said:

Herman Cain is holding on in Iowa, but barely. He is still in the thick of it, but he is not doing well with the female vote.

The new poll was taken on 11/10/2011 , 11 days after sexual harassment allegations surfaced.

Rightardia did not think the "head in the sand" approach of Fox News, Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh would work.

Cain is losing his female base.  The approach that conservative spokespeople and media have taken in support of Cain appears to have alienated GOP females.

Cain's bullying of Maria Bartiromo in the last debate didn't help him nor did his reference to Princess Pelosi.

Now, who could have predicted that?

NewsMax: Obama should go to Israel?

Susan Estrich said this in a NewsMax article:

J Street, the pro-peace, pro-Israel lobbying group, is circulating a petition calling on President Obama to go to Israel in the very near future. In my view, they are absolutely right.

Such a trip is absolutely essential . . .

The first is to reassure Israel of America's support in difficult times. Fairly or not, many Israelis do not trust Obama in the same way they did his two predecessors, Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Rightardia disagrees. The Middle East is in flux and the burning of the Koran in  the US makes the timing circumspect. The situation is Egypt, Libya and other Arab countires is unstable and the Netanyahu government is listing.

This is the worst of all possible times to visit Israel.

Obama made teriific offer to Netanyau when the two last met. Zipi Livni, Netayuhu's main opponent, said Netanyahu should have accepted the agreement.

Obama should keep Netanyahu at arm's length and work behind the scenes to collapse the Neanyaahu government.

Benjamin Netanyahu is an uncompromising Zionist.  It is unlikely that the Obama government will ever find any common groiund with Bibi and should not waste procious diplomatic stock on a venture that has little probalbility of success.

In the long run, the hearts and mind os 1 billion Muslims are more important than the hearts and minds of 7.5 million people in Israel.

Susan Estrich is concerned that the Israelis don't trust Obama like they did GW Bush and Clinton.

With a leadership change in Israel, that could quickly change!

Newsmax is "out to lunch" on Obama's approval

Obama's approval raings have been remarkably stable. It peaks in the low fifties and Rightardia saw it drop the high thirties once for the low. Most of the time it hangs between 43 and 49 per cent.

Gallup has Obama's approval is at 49 per cent today, and on March 14, Zogby had the president  at 47 per cent.

We have seen Obama's rating drop on weekends and when he is abroad. His ratings spring back during the week and when he returns from foreign visits.

What is the world in NewMax talking about?  Is this some funky poll that only the right wingers follow like some of Frank Lundt's shoddy work?

Media Matters discussed this. Apparently the bogus spin on low Obama poll number originated with Fox News. See http://mediamatters.org/blog/201103310025

The Republican idea of a good poltical commerical

Republicans are claiming this video went viral.

Can Americans be this dumb to vote for someone who is a Second amendment gun nut? Is this what gets someone elected in Whitoptia?

The announcer sounds like Ashley Martella, one of the Newmax TV voices.

Newsmax trying to hang recession on Obama

Obama is now in his seventh month as president and conservatives are tying to blame the recession on him. The second Bush recession started in 2008. The first one started in March 2001 and only lasted a few months

This sort of conservative hypocrisy proves the Rightardia contention that conservatives live in a gated community on Fantasy Island.

Newsmax Poll: Nearly 80% Support Palin 2012 Run

by Middle Class Warrior

I always get a kick out of some of the NewsMax articles. NewsMax conducted an an online unscientific poll and  they found that about 80 per cent of the readers though Sarah Palin helped the John McCain campaign and approximately the same amount hoped she would be the GOP nominee in 2012. Seven of 10 also believed that Obama 'bought' the presidency.

As an Obama campaign worker, I can tell you that we had three times the workers on the street that the GOP. We simply outmuscled the Republicans. The Democrats were the hunters and we were hunting conservatives. Democrats would be elated if the GOP would be foolish enough to run Palin in 2002. Can you even imagine a debate between Obama and Palin?
