Gallup: Obama approval rating rises, 12/12/2011

It is interesting that the Obama's ratings rise after the last GOP debate in Des Moines, Iowa.  Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos moderated the ABC debate. ,

Washington Whispers: Obama moves into the C range, week 137

Rightardia wonders if Obama has lost his mojo, he seems adrift. Rescheduling the president's speech for the joint session didn't help him either.

Jobs are also stagnant with a net job growth of 0 last month. According to WIN, more than 620,000 public sector jobs have been lsot since the Great Recession started in 2008.

Wikileaks disclosures has little effect on Obama's approval rating

Rightardia has noticed that whenever Obama is abroad his ratings plummet on the Gallup Poll.

We wondered how the Wikileaks revelations might affect his presidency. so far it has not. His approval ratings have been stable for the past 5 days.

Gallup: Obama Approval Hits 50% After Stretch of Sub-50 Ratings

February 1, 2010

President Barack Obama’s job approval rating is 50% in Gallup Daily tracking from Jan. 29-31. This follows 11 straight days of Gallup reporting in which Obama’s approval rating was below the 50% mark.

Rush Limbaugh lamented that the Haiti earthquake would be good for Obama, but the president actually received some of the lowest ratings of his presidency. As usual the conservative blow hard was wrong again.

Gallup: Obama approval rating 12/05/2009

This rating has been steady for the past two days.  There has been positive economic news this week. Unemployment dropped with only 11.000 new applications for unemployment insurance in November. This caused the dollar to rebound and the price of crude to drop. In addition, housing sales rose by 3.5 per cent in November.

America is starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Politics Daily: Obama Approval Rating Drops Below 50 Percent in Latest Gallup Poll

A day after conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh accused Gallup of oversampling blacks in order to keep President Obama's job approval rating about 50 percent, the pollster's latest tracking data for Nov. 17-19 shows that Obama had fallen below that benchmark.

Gallup's latest numbers have 49 percent approving of Obama's performance and 44 percent disapproving. Zogby has been showing Obama with a 49 per cent approval rating for a couple of weeks.

Gallup joins three other polls this week that also put Obama below 50 percent for the first time: a Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll conducted Nov. 17-18 put the percentage of voters who approve or disapprove of Obama at 46 percent each, with 8 percent undecided; Quinnipiac University put Obama's approval margin at 48 percent to 42 percent, and Public Policy Polling had him at 49 percent to 46 percent.

Gallup says that "although the current decline below 50% has symbolic significance, most of the recent decline in support for Obama occurred in July and August. He began July at 60% approval.
The ongoing, contentious debate over national health care reform has likely served as a drag on his public support, as have continuing economic problems. Americans are also concerned about the Obama administration's reliance on government spending to solve the nation's problems and the growing federal budget deficit."

Rightardia follows the president's ratings on a daily basis and has noticed his ratings fall when he is travelling abroad. We would expect his approval rating to be back up next week. However, over the mid- term his ratings have been declining.

The president needs to get a health care bill passed and to start working hard on employment. The House is already working on an employment bill.
The Democrats have one year to get America moving again or face the music in the 2010 election cycle. We don't believe the GOP has any solutions that will fix America. Republicans have their catch all tax cuts, but that didn't work during the two term Bush presidency. The last thing the US needs is Washington grid lock in 2010.

Gallup Poll: Obama's ratings rise 5 points in four days

The right wing was prematurely predicting the demise of Obama. Rightardia has noticed watching the daily Gallup Poll that Obama's ratings drop when he is traveling overseas or is on vacation. Once he is back in the White House, the ratings move up again.

Obama approval rating on the up

Republicans keep predicting the demise of President Obama, but it isn't working out that way.  He has a mandate and is using it effectively. The Gallup Poll confined that 56 per cent of Americans want the public health care option.

He should continue to use the bully pulpit until the conservatives in the House and Senate get bloody noses over their status quo health care postions.
