Neo-Nazi running for Congress denies Holocaust

Art Jones hopes to challenge Democrat Dan Lipinski in Illinois' 3rd Congressional District. He is not apologetic  for his past affiliation with the neo-Nazi Party.

Arthur Jones, 64, a Lyons, IL, insurance salesman who organizes family-friendly, neo-Nazi events around Adolf Hitler’s birthday,

Jones added:

As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,” Jones said. “It’s the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV.

If you don't think an extremist like Jones can be elected to Congress, think again. Florida has Rep. Allen West who was court martialed for a war crime in Iraq. West got off with an Article 15 and a fine which is still disgraceful. He was allowed to to resign form the Army rather than be dismissed which would have compromised his VA benefits.

West is on the DCCC's top 10 hit list.We hope the DCCC is able to defeat him in the next round of elections.

Salon's Joan Walsh's tweet angers evangelicals

Rightardia admires Joan Walsh. She is intelligent and beautiful. Apparently her tweet angered some of the faithful.

Rightardia consider the tweet appropriate since Romney was a Mormon bishop for many years and may still be. Rightardia could not find out when Mittens had resigned as bishop.

Mormons also posthumously baptize non-Mormons into their faith. Ann Romney's father, who was an atheist, was also baptized into the LDS faith after his death.

Romney has said that he wanted to save America's soul. The Mormons also baptized two  members of the Jewish faith:  Daniel Pearl and Anne Frank in February, 2012.

Will FL Rep Vern Buchanan lose his NRCC job?

CREW describes Buchanan as one of most corrupt politicians in DC

In the latest test of House Republican’s zero tolerance policy on ethics, Friday’s New York Times revealed that federal investigations into NRCC Finance Chairman Vern Buchanan’s (FL-13) role in a potentially illegal campaign finance scheme are “widening” and “a federal grand jury in Tampa is hearing evidence in the case.”

Will Speaker Boehner, Leader Cantor, and NRCC Chairman Sessions continue to allow Congressman Buchanan to lead the NRCC’s lackluster fundraising effort?

Buchanan is already under federal investigation for an “extensive and ongoing” campaign finance scheme to reimburse employees who contributed to his campaign and the Office of Congressional Ethics found that there “is substantial reason to believe”

Buchanan violated the law by failing to report his positions at over a dozen companies.

The New York Times has now revealed that there is also “a deep link between his newly disclosed corporate interests and his own fund-raising operations, with donors affiliated with these groups donating more than $136,000 to his campaigns.”

“The chief House Republican fundraiser, Congressman Vern Buchanan, is under an expanding investigation for a campaign finance scheme and for failure to disclose his assets,” said Jesse Ferguson of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Ferguson added:

Republicans have a campaign Finance Chairman who uses potentially illegal campaign finance tactics in charge of funding their re-election. Having Congressman Vern Buchanan as fundraising Chairman for the Republican Majority is just the latest test of Republicans’ ‘zero tolerance’ policy on ethics.

Buchanan is Under Investigation by The FBI, IRS, Federal Grand Jury and the House Ethics Committee. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internal Revenue Service and a federal grand jury in Tampa are all investigating Vern Buchanan’s roll in scheme to reimburse his employees for contributions made to his congressional campaign.

Additionally, The House Ethics Committee is examining Buchanan’s failing to disclose financial interests, income and management positions he held at 17 different businesses and organizations. [New York Times, 2/24/12] . . .

Florida Independent: FEC: Buchanan’s former dealership violated the law in an ‘extensive and ongoing scheme.’ “A federal court is imposing a $67,900 fine on a car dealership once owned by Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Sarasota, for what the Federal Election Commission calls an ‘extensive and ongoing scheme’ to funnel ‘secret, illegal contributions’ to Buchanan’s 2006 and 2008 campaigns.” [Florida Independent, 6/1/11]

Buchanan Heads the NRCC’s Fundraising Efforts. NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions appointed Buchanan as the NRCC’s Finance Vice Chair on January 14, 2011. [

Why then do the Democrats have trouble with Wall Street and the investment bankers?

Perhaps it is because Democrats support American businesses while the GOP supports the oligarchs at the top of the corporate structure.

PPP: MI momentum is with Simple Rick

The original lamb of God
"PPP's final poll in Michigan finds Rick Santorum holding on to the smallest of leads with 38% to 37% for Mitt Romney, 14% for Ron Paul, and 9% for Newt Gingrich.
It's always good to be cautious with one night poll numbers, but momentum seems to be swinging in Santorum's direction. Romney led with those interviewed on Sunday, but Santorum has a 39-34 advantage with folks polled on Monday. "

This result could make the Tampa GOP convention a brokered affair.

This is bad news for Mittens, but good news for President Obama.

Simple Rick misquotes Obama on college

Feb 25, 2012. Simple Rick invented an Obama quote on college that does not exist. Obama has never said everyone needs to go to college.

Obama has talked about making college more affordable so that people could send their children to college.

Obama also talked about the importance of community colleges.

Obama said this recently to the state governors:

We’re talking about somebody going to a community college and getting trained for that manufacturing job that now is requiring somebody walking through the door handling a million dollar piece of equipment. And they can’t go in there unless they’ve got some basic training beyond what they received in high school.

We all want American(s) getting those jobs of the future, so we’re going to have to make sure they’re getting the education they need.

Paul Rosenberg has noticed that Simple Rick often makes incendiary statements in front of supporters to show his courage, but then backs off on his statements when challenged afterwards.

This is the mark of a sophist who says what the audience wants to hear, but may actually holds few strong convictions.

In the last debate, Simple Rick was asked why he voted for a spending bill. He indicated he did it for the home team and was booed by the crowd.

Santorum was well known big spending conservative senator who sought earmarks as most politicians do.

Latest BS from Benjamin Netanyahu

Israeli officials say they won't warn the US if they launch a pre-emptive strike against Iranian nuclear facilities.

Israel won't provide warning so that the US will not be held responsible for failing to stop Israel's potential attack.

That the official version, any way.

Obama has said all along he would prefer not to know if Israel launches a pre-emptive attack.

You can be sure US indications and warning intelligence staff are watching for an Israeli attack.

Rightardia thinks an air attack is beyond the capabilities of Israel. Israel would need a larger tanker fleet than 8 Boeing KC707s and more than the 25 F-15I Strike Eagles it has .

These fighter bombers can drop two 5,000 lb GBU-28 bunker busters.  That will probably be insufficient to neutralize the Iranian nuclear facilities.

Israel could launch a missile attack and also plan a large scale special operations assault with airborne forces. Getting these ground forces out of Iran after the attack would be problematic.

Israel has undoubtedly requested KC-10 tanker support and bomber support with the US TOP SECRET B-2 bomber.

Would Obama allow these aircraft to overfly Iran. Rightardia hopes not? Compromise of this aircraft would have a grave effect on US national interests.

Israel could also request B-1 bomber support. The B-1 can carry 15× GBU-38 JDAM GPS guided bombs (Mk-82 GP warhead). However, these are are 500 ponders.

The B-1 can also drop 24 of the the 2000 pound GBU-31. Both payloads would be smaller than the the 5000 lb GBU-28 that the Israel F-15I Strike Eagle carries.

It is possible to put bladders into C-130s so they can function as tankers, but Israel would have to modify quite a few C-130s and train crews for his special mission.

However, It would not be easy for Israel to overcome the bomber shortfall because it has no strategic bombers in it inventory.

Would you do this to your dog?

Uploaded by  on Feb 26, 2012

Mitt Romney famously took a twelve hour trip from Boston to Canada with his dog Seamus on the roof of his car. Mitt claims the dog enjoyed the ride, so I decided to test to see how enjoyable being strapped to the roof of a car in a kennel really was.

According to the Romney children, Seamus ran away after the Romenys arrived in Canada.

More Florida drug testing

Conservative FL representative does a good imitation of Don Quixote

A Florida house lawmaker wants state agencies to test their workers for drugs. The bill would mandate testing for all public sector employees except members of the Florida legislature .

Rep. Jimmie Smith (R-Lecanto), said he supports drug testing for lawmakers, but requiring them to pee in cups like everyone else would violate their constitutional rights.

In an email to The Huffington Post, Smith cited the U.S. Supreme Court's 1997 decision in Chandler v. Miller, which struck down tests for political candidates in Georgia.

Gov. Rick Scott has already written an executive order that requires drug testing for state employees.

However, federal courts generally have ruled that such policies violate the U.S. Constitution’s Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches.

In that case, U.S. District Court Judge Kenneth L. Ryskamp ruled that governments cannot require prospective employees to take drug tests unless there is a “special need,” such as public safety.

Ryskamp’s ruling led other Florida cities, such as Pembroke Pines, to stop drug-testing job applicants.

Rick Scott and the florid legislature need to stop tilting at windmills and trying to reinvent the wheel. The law, if passed, will be challenged by the ACLU and the ruled unconstitutional.

The "drug test"  legislative effort is a waste of taxpayer money.

AHNC: No apology needed for Quran burning

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum criticized President Barack Obama’s apology for the burning of Qurans in Afghanistan. Simple Rick says that Afghanistan should apologize to the U.S. for the deaths of four U.S. soldiers during six days of violence sparked by the incident.

Santorum seems to be mixing up cause and effect.

Never mind the fact hat the US invaded Afghanistan and should have left by now. Al Qaeda has been neutralized and Osama bin Laden is dead.

So, Santorum will put more of our troops in harm’s way by saying it’s OK to burn the Quran, no apologies needed.

This is the best the Republicans can come up with?

William Durst said this about The Ayatollah of Pennsylvania:

You could say Santorum is Old Fashioned. But it might be more precise to say he’s Old Testament. Women don’t have rights, they’re baby tunnels for Christ. Birth control is immoral, prenatal testing is depraved and gay marriage is an abomination. And anybody who campaigns in a sweater vest obviously knows a thing or two about abominations. The Ayatollah of Pennsylvania is on a mission to drag this country kicking and screaming back into the 50s. The 1850s.

Al Jazeera: Rick Santorum's phony theology

Uploaded by  on Feb 22, 2012

Paul Rosenberg makes an interesting observation about Simple Rick:

Santorum has a pattern of making extreme statements and then taking them back under unexpected pressure. But pundits have rightly noted that these statements are a source of Santorum's strength, a reflection of what he really believes, and a sign of his authenticity - as opposed to Mitt Romney's inability to say anything that resonates as a firm conviction.

Ahead of Super Tuesday on March 6, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has caught up with one-time front-runner, Mitt Romney in the Republican primary races.

This is good news for the Democratic Party.

Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from Washington.

Income tax and "divide and conquer"

Rightardia was reading some excerpts in an editorial from Matt Tiabbi in which he stated the GOP may get what it deserves in the next election, Tiabbi also pointed out the the GOP prefers to throw bombs at Democrats rther than develop a coherent political agenda of its own.

Tiabbi went on that president Obama will probably be elected, but that he hardly deserves it.

Rightardia likes Obama, but agrees that he has not been as effective as we had hoped. The Bush tax cuts are still around and unions are being attacked at the state level by Republican governors. Unions are becoming weaker during Obama's term.

The Bush tax cuts are not affordable and that should have been Obama's first order of business. Republicans lament that half of Americans do not pay taxes. This is why:  the second tax bracket.

The Bush tax cut this bracket form 28 per cent to 15 per cent. Most people who make under $30,000 per year now pay no taxes.

single 15% Bracket$8,701 – $35,350jointly $17,401 – $70,700

The Republicans, particularly, Rush Limbaugh, would have you think that the dearth of people who don't pay income tax was caused by liberals. Actually, his phenomena was caused by GW Bush.

Ricky the Rightard was at the office and explained. that everyone needs to pay income taxes. Secular Human pointed out that the bottom half of American income earners take in about 13 per cent of the national income and the lowest tax bracket (bottom qunitel) takes in about 5 per cent.

There is no pound of flesh to get from these wage earners.

Let's say that many of these low income Americans start paying income tax. Many will have to hire a tax person to fill out a 1040-EZ. Let's say the this new taxpayer finds out he owes the government $25. He writes the check and mails in the tax payment.

Now the government is flooded with these small tax payments from millions of new tax payers. Will the government be able to process the form and deposit theses payments to make a revenue gain (profit)?

This is unlikely and this is why some people don't pay taxes. It is not cost effective to process the transaction. Most people making $14,000 a year or less are at the federal poverty level.

Of course, the "divide and conquer" tactics of the GOP make good talking points on Talk Radio for people like Rush and Micheal Savage.

The general themes of these demagogues is that the poor, women, blacks, Hispanics, foreigners, Muslims and other minorities are dragging down the the 'white, christian society" that the founders had in mind.

This canard does not hold water. The GOP bombs are designed to mislead the middle class.

If you want to peak at early American colonial history, Alexis de Tocqueville is a good place to start. De Tocqueville was aware of the divisiveness between the New England and Southern colonies in the 1830s. He was not the least bit impressed with southern politics and slavery.

What Obama has done is unite a most of the middle calls against regressive GOP policies that provide perks to the affluent , the defense industry and Fortune 500 corporations.

The GOP know a united middle class is difficult to beat in an election. It's approach is divide the middle class by pitting it against the poor, women, minorities and the Islamic religion.
Is Rick Santorum the anti-Christ or just horribly misguided?

This is why religious and social issues are important to the GOP than the economic conditions. The Republican clod, Rick Santorum, personifies what is wrong with the GOP.
