Feb 25, 2012. Simple Rick invented an Obama quote on college that does not exist. Obama has never said everyone needs to go to college.
Obama has talked about making college more affordable so that people could send their children to college.
Obama also talked about the importance of community colleges.
Obama said this recently to the state governors:
We’re talking about somebody going to a community college and getting trained for that manufacturing job that now is requiring somebody walking through the door handling a million dollar piece of equipment. And they can’t go in there unless they’ve got some basic training beyond what they received in high school.
We all want American(s) getting those jobs of the future, so we’re going to have to make sure they’re getting the education they need.
Paul Rosenberg has noticed that Simple Rick often makes incendiary statements in front of supporters to show his courage, but then backs off on his statements when challenged afterwards.
This is the mark of a sophist who says what the audience wants to hear, but may actually holds few strong convictions.
In the last debate, Simple Rick was asked why he voted for a spending bill. He indicated he did it for the home team and was booed by the crowd.
Santorum was well known big spending conservative senator who sought earmarks as most politicians do.
