Flackcheck: Orchids to Bret Baier for playing sentences surrounding 'you didn't build that'

Published on Jul 25, 2012 by
http://www.flackcheck.org - FlackCheck.org awards Orchids to Fox News host Bret Baier for showing President Obama's entire statement as prelude to panel discussion of meaning of "you didn't build that."

Rightardia agrees with Obama and Hillary Clinton. it does take a village to raise a young person. parent, teachers, neighbors and friends all impact on a young person's life.

The Republican view is that success is like a gunfight: the fastest draw wins.

The country club Republicans secret plan

It's clear a cultural war has been going on between the establishment (country club) Republicans and the Tea Party/ditto head element.

The country clubbers released the dogs in 2008 to take congress, but once the far right crazies got a taste of power, they stopped listening to the country club insiders.

The GOP House was a disaster with a 17 per cent approval rating overall, the lowest in the history of the Gallup organization.

The GOP needs to come back to the Center and also expel the club for Growth form the party which has been torpedoing moderate GOP candidates. The Republican Party has, in fact, descended into fascism.

Zina Saunders: A Match Made In . . .

Uploaded by  on Apr 1, 2012

See more at http://www.zinasaunders.com -- Last week at a rally in Janesville, Wisconsin, Santorum may have used the N Word on President Obama, when he said, "We know the candidate Barack Obama, what he was like -- the anti-war government nig... America was a source for division around the world, that what we were doing was wrong."

Of course Santorum denies he was about to say what it sounds like he was saying, just as he did back in January when he was caught on tape saying he didn't "want to make black people's lives better by giving them other people's money." He later said that the whole world was mishearing his statement, that he meant to say "blah" people. Riiiiiight....

Flackcheck: Sunday hosts tell Simple Rick they no longer take him serously

Uploaded by FlackCheck on Apr 6, 2012

http://www.flackcheck.com - A message from FlackCheck.org to presidential candidates: if you appear on a Sunday news show and are asked questions such as those we feature in this video, we think the host is trying to tell you something. But Sunday show hosts, what's the message these questions send to voters?

It not only simple Rick, but the Newster still hasn't "suspended his campaign either." Newt's campaign is more than $ 4million in debt and he didn't even register in the last National Gallup poll that rated the GOP candidates.

Santorum is a religious wing nut who thinks America just needs old time religion to fix our ills.

He has little appeal among independents and most Democrats would like to tar and feather this dumb ass!

OK, excuse our French , but this slate of GOP candidates is the most pathetic we can ever remember.

We expect the GOP to get thrashed in November and it will be well deserved. We doubt if the Super PACS will be able to save the GOP.

FlackCheck: Politico points out anti-China trend in campaign ads

Uploaded by  on Feb 17, 2012
http://www.flackcheck.org -- FlackCheck.org gives a shout-out to Politico.com for pointing out a growing xenophobic trend in campaign advertising.
Most of the anit-Chinese rhetoric has come from the right wing who is afraid of the "Red Menace." Make no mistake: China is a communist nation that has mixed socialistic economic policies with  traditional Chinese village enterprise.
The Chinese have a unicameral legislature that periodically replaces key leaders, a problem that has plagued Russia, Cuba and North Korea, countries that  ended up with hereditary Stalinist-style dictatorships.
Should the US blame the Chinese for the American job loss. No, it should blame US corporations and Republican  administrations who gave these corporations huge tax breaks for off-shoring American jobs while ramping up the Hi-B visa program to allow more foreign workers in the US.
This issue is not black and white. Democrats seem to be able to collaborate with Republican presidents, but it doesn't work the other way around.

Bad Bet for Florida: It Doesn't Take A Kid, Duh!

A hard-hitting ad exposing significant pitfalls of Florida mega-casino legislation.

The GOP response to the sour economy that it created has been to weaken labor laws and to introduce vice industries like gambling into states.

In the past, the Florida lottery was offered as a solution for education funds for primary and secondary schools. CBS news pointed out:

After 50 cents of every gambled lottery dollar is given back in prize money and operating expenses swallow another 20 cents, on average, leaving just 30 cents of every lottery dollar going back to the state.

Lotteries do help, but not nearly as much at you may think. Even when proceeds are earmarked for education, lotteries generally cover only a fraction of state education spending.

RT: Anonymous declares cyber war on Congress over indefinite detention act

Hacktivists are continuing their mission to take on politicians causing the collapse of constitutional rights in America, with operatives from the online collective Anonymous keeping up a campaign against the signers of controversial legislation.

As Russia Today (RT) reported on Thursday, members of Anonymous began a campaign this week to expose information on the lawmakers who voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012, a bill that will allow for the indefinite detention of American citizens, the reinstating of torture methods and the creation of the United States as a battlefield.

Despite the implications of the act, the Senate allowed for the bill to leave Capitol Hill on Thursday, leaving only the inking of President Barack Obama’s name as the final step for ratification.

President Obama had earlier insisted on vetoing the bill, but the White House retracted that statement in the days before it cleared Congress. Before the final draft left the Senate yesterday, Sen. Carl Levin asked that a statement from the administration be added to the record in which the president’s press secretary, Jay Carney, said that the president will not be advised to strike down the bill.

On Thursday, Anonymous hacktivists launched a campaign against Senator Robert Portman, a Republican from Ohio. Not only did Portland vote in favor of NDAA FY2012, he received $272,853 from special interest groups that also backed the bill.

“Robert J. Portman, we plan to make an example of you,” an Anonymous operative posted to the Internet on Thursday. Along with the warning was personal information pertaining to the senator, including his home address and phone number.

On Friday, Anonymous says that this is just the beginning of the campaign against those that are creating the collapse of the US Constitution. With NDAA FY2012 almost guaranteed to be approved by Obama any moment, a second piece of legislation, the Stop Online Piracy Act, is close to clearing a Congressional committee. Should that bill be brought before the president and signed into law as well, Internet access and content across America and the world will become largely censored.

“We've been watching you systematically destroy the rights of your own people, one law at a time. No longer shall we stand by and watch you enslave our fellow citizens,” writes an Anonymous operative in an open letter to Congress posted Friday:

You have continued down this path of treason by creating acts such as the National Defense Authorization Act, Stop Online Piracy Act, Protect IP Act, and more. You've tried to conceal the true purpose of these bills, and pass them without the consent of the American people.

As a result of the recent legislation which has managed to make its way through Congress, Anonymous operatives write on Friday:

We are now here to undo your sordid life's work in its entirety. No longer will your transgressions go unnoticed. No longer will you enslave the people. The world will know of your violations against the rights of the citizens you were elected to represent.

In the memo from the hacktivists, they include a copy of the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the US Constitution that have been crushed in-part by the latest congressional meetings. “Every time you violate these amendments we will ensure the people are aware of your actions,” says Anonymous. “You may have previously succeeded in concealing your actions, but that time has come to an end. You were elected by us, and you can be removed by us.”

Anonymous members are using the trending topic #OpAccountable on Twitter to spread the campaign against the congressman involved in the legislation. On Friday, one hacktivist tweeted that the topic is even being used by known members of the Tea Party movement.

“Goes to show this year’s outrage is far stretching," adds the operative.

Note: IAW RT policy, this article is published verbatim.
