WMR: Suspicious attack on Wayne Madsen's brother

New Port Richey (June 23-24, 2011)-- Wayne Madsen's  brother, is in stable but guarded condition following what he has described a break-in of his house and a forced injection with an unknown substance.

A New Port Richey police officer found my brother roaming the streets of the town at around 4:20 am on June 22 in a confused and disheveled state.

My brother told police and a family member that his home had been broken into by unknown persons and he was administered a forced injection after he tried to fend off the attackers with a hand gun that he possesses for security reasons.

He was then found by the police wandering the street in the early morning hours.

Neighbors described my brother as a loner who does not entertain guests.

My brother was taken by police to New Port Richey Community Hospital where blood tests revealed no presence of alcohol or standard tested narcotic substances.

Until more information can be gleaned on this incident over the next few days, WMR's reporting will be intermittent.

Rightardia subscribes to the Wayne Madsen Report and has approval to publish the Wayne Madsen exclusives. This is an unusual attack and we hope Wayne's brother makes a quick recovery.

WMR: Anti-AIPAC demonstration: passions flare and infiltrators abound

May 24

An eclectic gathering of demonstrators protesting the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual meeting in Washington, DC prompted cat calls from passing AIPAC delegates as well as suspicions that some of the protesters were planted among the demonstrators by circles friendly to AIPAC.

Several AIPAC delegates shouted "shame on you" to the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim protesters gathered across the street from the AIPAC venue. Referring to the protesters, other AIPAC attendees asked, "Why are these people allowed to be here?"

This year, Neturei Karta rabbis, who reject Zionism and the Jewish state of Israel, and pro-Palestinian protesters, were joined for the first time by members of the vocal "anti-war" group Code Pink.

Code Pink set up a platform with a sound system on May 22 for various speakers to voice their opposition to AIPAC and Israel's policies.

However, one veteran anti-war demonstrator who has attended a number of past protests against the AIPAC meeting, expressed concern that Code Pink had permitted an AIPAC spokeswoman to use the group's sound system, set up in a park across the street from the DC Convention Center, to voice support for AIPAC and Israel on Sunday, the day President Obama addressed the group.

In addition, three individuals, including medical doctor and clown Patch Adams, brought to the demonstration by Code Pink, conducted a "mooning" of AIPAC delegates on their way to and from the convention center.

The veteran anti-war protester felt that Code Pink was harming the legitimate protesters by engaging in a circus atmosphere. Similar complaints about Code Pink have been made by those who point to the group's antics during televised congressional hearings.

Although AIPAC may have infiltrated the anti-Israel demonstrators, it appears that the anti-war protesters had their own "plants" inside AIPAC. One AIPAC delegate quietly slipped an internal AIPAC document, titled "AIPAC talking points," to one of the protesters.

One perk for AIPAC disappeared during this year's annual meeting.

In years past, the DC Metropolitan Police provided escorts for the buses ferrying delegates to and from the convention center and area hotels.

However, a DC police officer at the demonstration. told WMR that the police escorts were canceled this year "thanks to Charlie Sheen."

In April, DC police came under criticism for providing escorts to the former "Two and a Half Men" television star from Dulles International Airport to his live performance in downtown Washington.

Washington police chief Cathy Lanier ordered a suspension, pending a "review," of all such escorts, including those for AIPAC delegates.

Ironically, Sheen, who was fired from his television show after he referred to its co-creator Chuck Lorre as "Chaim Levine," said by some to have been an anti-Semitic comment, was partly responsible for having AIPAC delegates stripped of their police escorts.

Wayne Madsen Report: An unsung heroine of the Bush "Dark Era"

January 3, 2010

There were a number of women who, during the eight years of the Bush regime, exemplified the spirit of this nation's founding mothers and sisters.

Women like the FBI's Coleen Rowley and Sibel Edmonds; Enron's Sharon Watkins; the Army Corps of Engineer's Bunnatine Greenhouse; J.P. Morgan risk analyst Indira Singh; long-serving White House correspondent Helen Thomas; Karl Rove's former research specialist Dana Jill Simpson; the CIA's Valerie Plame Wilson; former U.S. Park Police chief Teresa Chambers; retired Army Colonel Ann Wright; retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski; Susan Lindauer, the CIA's back-channel to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein; and, especially, this editor's extraordinary girlfriend, a former National Security Agency (NSA) analyst, all of whom put the interests of the nation, its Constitution, and ethics above personal ambitions, fearlessly spoke about what was wrong, and did what was right.

Add former British GCHQ analyst Katharine Gun, who proved what an ally should be.
Brigadier General Janis Karpinski

But perhaps no one paid more of a price for telling the truth than the Bush administration's designated scapegoat in the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal than did Army Brigadier General Janis Karpinski, who was busted back to the rank of colonel on May 5, 2005, before she retired.

Karpinski was the commander of the 800th Military Police Brigade in Iraq and was demoted by President Bush in order that he and his senior officials and military commanders could save face after horrid details of the physical, mental, and sexual abuse of detainees at Abu Ghraib and other U.S. detention centers in Iraq came to light.

Informed sources have told WMR that the scapegoating for the detainee abuse at Abu Ghraib and other prisons and carried out by CIA and Pentagon contractors, as well as by Israeli interrogators brought into Iraq by the Coalition Provisional Authority of Paul "Jerry' Bremer, did not end with Karpinski.

Two officers who publicly defended Karpinski were also retaliated against on the orders of the Pentagon hierarchy and the Bush White House.

Karpinski was the highest-ranking female military commander in Iraq. She also became the number one target for the neocon mensch in the Pentagon and White House.

One military commander who defended Karpinski was retired Major General Charles H. Swannack, Jr., the commander of the 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq.

WMR has learned that the personal contents of Swannack's emails from Iraq back to the United States were intercepted by the Pentagon brass after he defended Karpinski over the Abu Ghraib scandal.

The emails were then used to force Swannack to retire. Swannack publicly stated that the Abu Ghraib scandal was the fault of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and he later called for Rumsfeld to resign.

The other officer who incurred the wrath of the Pentagon brass and the neocons salted throughout the Pentagon and White House for supporting Karpinski was Army chaplain Captain James Yee, 1990 West Point graduate.

Yee, a Muslim chaplain, was arrested on September 10, 2003 after returning from the Guantanamo, Cuba gulag to Jacksonville, Florida.

Yee was charged with sedition, aiding the enemy, and espionage, among other offenses and detained Yee at the Navy Brig in Charleston, South Carolina.

Yee was kept for 76 days in solitary confinement and he was subjected to sensory deprivation, a torture technique.

Yee was released with all charges dropped on March 19, 2004. However, like Swannack, Yee's email was being monitored by the Pentagon's spies and he was falsely charged with improper use of a government computer and storing pornography on it.

Ultimately, Yee was granted an honorable discharge.

Rumsfeld is currently finishing his memoirs, "Known and Unknown," which will undoubtedly skip over how his atrocious and practically treasonous stewardship of the Pentagon resulted in a major flag officer revolt.

However, the corporate media lap dogs and the Zionist and neocon power and money centers that give them their marching orders will treat the Rumsfeld memoirs as the sole version of the history of the Iraq misadventure. Count on it.

Meanwhile, neither Karpinski, Swannack, or Yee have ever seen a formal apology from the Pentagon or the Obama White House, which walks in lockstep with all of the Bush-era war and terrorism policies.

In some cases, Obama has ratcheted up those policies to make every American traveling a suspected terrorist.

The Wayne Madsen Report: New Rightardia Resource

Wayne Madsen worked in US Naval Intelligence for many years and he has published numerous articles for Russia Today. Rightardia in now a subscriber to the Wayne Madsen Report and will be using material from his blog.

In 2005 Madsen became a blogger and free-lance journalist. He currently edits the Wayne Madsen Report, which he describes as following in the tradition of Drew Pearson, Jack Anderson's famous "Washington Merry-Go-Round" syndicated column, and columns by I.F. Stone.

His columns have appeared in The Miami Herald, Houston Chronicle, Philadelphia Inquirer, Columbus Dispatch, Sacramento Bee, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Madsen is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, Investigative Reporters and Editors, Association of Former Intelligence Officers, and the National Press Club (USA).

Madsen says that in 2001 he was denied a press pass as an Internet journalist to cover the first inauguration of George W. Bush. This increased his credibility with Rightardia.

Reporting and Opinions

In 2000, Madsen expressed concern over the Carnivore Internet information monitoring program of the FBI and Project Echelon of the National Security Agency which he said were threats to the privacy rights of Americans.

In 2002 he suggested to the Guardian newspaper that the United States Navy had aided in an attempted overthrow of Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez. In January 2002 he expressed concern over the possible use of torture by the United States government against suspected terrorists, as well as possible plans to use the military in domestic law enforcement, in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.

In 2003 he said that he had uncovered information linking the September 11 attacks to the government of Saudi Arabia as well as to Bush administration. In 2005, he wrote than an unidentified former CIA agent claimed that the USS Cole was actually hit by a Popeye cruise missile launched from an Israeli Dolphin-class submarine.

In 2005 he said that the pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC, had pressured American politicians to stay away from protests against the Iraq war.

In 2006 he criticized the Iraq Study Group

"I think it is a whitewash group and nothing will come of it, except that they may concoct some reason for the US to stay the course in Iraq, with perhaps a little more international support, like Germany and Canada.

The commission is a whitewash because the members are all consummate Washington insiders, many of whom have a political and financial stake in the successful outcome of the war. The longer the war goes on the more money they make."

Later that year he criticized the movie industry for indirectly causing suffering in Africa by promoting diamonds in movies like Breakfast At Tiffany's and Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.

He included Leonardo DiCaprio, whose film Blood Diamond dealt with the issue, as well as Russell Simmons who is selling a line of "nonconflict diamonds." Madsen said about them, "It's a p.r. campaign. They should be saying, 'Don't buy diamonds at all.'"

In a 2008 Arab News article, Madsen is quoted as suggesting that the criminal prosecution of New York State governor Eliot Spitzer was partly due to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.

In July 2009, Madsen released a report claiming the existence of a Q Group within the National Security Agency. This unit is, according to Madsen, tasked with concealing US government involvement in 9/11.

We anticipate we will get some interesting articles form Mr. Madsen. We have one on the way.

There is evidence that US defense contractors have offered bribes to US Congressmen in exchange for business contracts, said RT contributor Wayne Madsen.
