Think Progress: Trayvon Martin hoody targets

A VA gun store owner is selling targets that are based upon clothing Trayvon Martin was wearing when he was shot and killed by George Zimmerman. The target shows a silhouette of a person carrying a can of ice tea and Skittles.

The gun store owner claimed he sold out the targets in two days.

The gun store owner added:

My main motivation was to make money off the controversy.

Other gun store owners considered the targets disrespectful or "hate monegering."
