Buzz 60: Republican Nominee Indecision As Obama Looks Stronger

Uploaded by  on Feb 15, 2012
Republicans have been struggling for a year to find the best man or woman to beat Barack Obama but still have no consensus about a nominee. Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum? Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul? And now the indecision comes as Obama's approval rating rises and the economy improves.

Rightardia agrees with Jay DeDapper's analyses. Mittens doesn't really bring anything to the table that makes a convincing case for changing the presidency. The surly approach of the GOP toward the president for the last three years will probably lead to the loss of the US Congress as well.

The best thing that could happen to the GOP would be a massive defeat in November. It would force them to take their ideological blinders off and to return to the middle. They would also be forced to deal with a popular Democratic president for the next four years.

The US is no longer fighting a cold war with Russia and economic issues are far more important about social issues like religion and abortion.
