First, Rightardia heard that Rick Perry failed to qualify for the Virginia Republican primary. Rick's a good ol' boy and not so bright, so we weren't surprised. We knew that Rick is just another dumb ass from Texas.
But then we hear Newt Gingrich's petition for the Virginia primary also had irregularites and he was disqualified,too. Keep in mind that Newt Gingrich is a Virginia home boy.
According to Republicans, Newt is the one who can debate President Obama.
Why is the GOP concerned about that? Because President Obama and Joe Biden obliterated John McCain and Sarah Palin the last presidential and vice presidential debate series.
Gingrich attacked Virginia's primary system on Saturday, saying that "only a failed system" would disqualify him. He vowed to run a write-in campaign.
Gingrich was leading Romney in VA before he was disqualified form the primary.
If Newt is the "smart" GOP candidate, that is good news for President Obama.
