Reaffirming his commitment to his plan to create 700,000 jobs in 7 years regardless of whether the economy goes up or down.
Both the Miami herald and St.Petersburg Times reported that Scott is backpedaling on his job creation campaign promise. Scott promised to create 700,000 jobs during a seven year period on top on 1 million jobs that economists had already been predicted would be created.
Scott is now saying he will only 700,000 new jobs will be created which is well under the1,700,000 new jobs that were expected in the next 7 years. Rightardia suspects this campaign promise will haunt Scott in the next election.
Rightardia also reported that many retiring baby boomers are passing on Florida for states that are closer to home. This isn't good news for Rick Scott.
