Gov. Rick Scott has broken his campaign promise to create 700,000 jobs in Florida during two terms as governor
Scott promised to creat 700,000 new jobs above and beyond normal job growth in Florida that was projected to be 1,000,000,000 new jobs. He is now denying the campaign promise he made, that but News Channel 8 in Tampa Bay ran a clip proving that Scott is a bald faced lair.
The essence of the argument is whether Scott’s promise was to create 700,000 jobs in addition to the normal, expected employment growth in employment.
In fact, Scott is denying he ever said his promise was on top of projected job growth.
Scott based much of his campaign on his “7-7-7 plan." He e said would create 700,000 jobs in seven years by cutting taxes and regulations.
