Another Tribute to Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was a complex person who had a dark side. Apple invented the home computer but wanted too much money for it and IBM stole the market from it with the lower cost IBM PC and PC, Jr.
Steve Wozniak was the engineer who invented the Apple computer. Jobs was the marketeer. The IPhone and IPad with their style and miniaturization have been the real innovation in Apple products.
The Apple home computers and laptops are over priced and the Apple operating system such as OS X Lion is very similar to Linux which is free. Windows and Linux users look at apple aficionados as Luddites, who have a limited grasp of technology that underlies the Apple products.
If an Apple PC breaks, it has to be taken to an Apple repair shop. For home computer users, Apple computers and laptops are an expensive option.
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.
--Steve Jobs
Jobs knew he was dieing in 2005. Yet, Jobs was certainly visionary and a technology pioneer. Rightardia saw this progressive video on late night news and was impressed with it.
Enjoy!
