LtSaloon.org: Panic in TeaBagtown

Why are the Teabaggers panicking? If an Egyptian government is formed that is unfriendly to the US, the Camp David accords will be null and void and Egypt will lose $1.5 billion in US foreign aide.

The real problem is that Israel, which is in the top 25 per cent of nations as far as income goes. It could also lose a $3 billion US subsidy.

That is certainly upsetting to the Christian right because Israel is their fair haired child.

Is the progressive left picking on Israel? Not really. Rand Paul, the libertarian, brought up Israeli foreign aid. He doen't think they need our money.

Rightardia agrees.
