Wikianswers: Sarah Palin can use the term "blood libel' because she is Jewish

Sarah Palin has Jewish ancestry based on Jewish tradition that makes one "Jewish" if born to a mother of Jewish mother

Sarah Palin's mother (Sally Sheigam) was of Lithuanian Jewish heritage as were both of her mother's parents, Louise Sheigam and Shmuel Sheigam.

Her maternal grandfather, Schmuel Sheigam, was a Lithuanian Jew born in 1912 in Vilkaviskis, Lithuania, near Vilnius.

The Sheigam family immigrated to America, via Hamburg in 1915 because of WWI.

The grandmother was was originally named Gower. Her father Chuck Heath can be considered of Jewish blood because it is believed his mother, Beatrice Coleman, was of Jewish decent.

The Wall Street Journal agrees:

Sarah Palin has every right to use it. The expression may be used whenever an amorphous mass is collectively accused of being murderers or accessories to murder.

Further information on Governor Palin's ancestors can easily be found in the vital records in the Lithuanian State Historical Archives in Vilnius. See http://www.archyvai.lt/

This may explain why Palin was familiar with the term, "blood libel."  Palin may be the second Jewish Repblican candidate to run in 2012.

Earlier Rightardia wrote and article explaining the  Mormons consider themselves to be Jewish, Therefore, Mormon bishop Mitt Romney is also Jewish. See http://rightardia.blogspot.com/2011/01/mormons-lost-aryan-tribe-of-israel.html
