Rush implies the US poltical sysem will be like China's

The history, language and the people of China are very different than from the US. China has a communist political system and a mixed economy built upon a socialist economic model. Although the cites are industrialized, most of the country is agrarian. Health care is not available in most farm villages.

Many political scientists in the 1970s thought China and India would provide the models for the third world. It appears that China has won, but India is also doing quite well, too. 

The right would suggest that the Obama heath care reforms are marching the country toward socialism.

Part of the problem with the right is that they think the US still fighting the Cold War. Of course, the right wing prefers military to diplomatic solutions.

Obama is bringing home the bacon with new trade agreements with China and India that create jobs in the US.
