Washington Whispers (usnews.com): Boehner's top five big changes

Boehner's book: A Secret Pledge to Corporate America

John Boehner will make the following changes as speaker according to WW:
1. He promises to be less authoritarian. He will relegate more power.

Rightardia wonders how the House will run this way. We suspect Boehner meant he wants to delegate some of his responsibilities.

2. Boehner will allow the other side to meddle more than before. He likes legislators.

The House runs on rules. We doubt if the GOP will tolerate meddlesome Democrats.

3. Smokers will be welcome again. He will not give up his cigarettes.

There are government rules on smoking in Federal buildings. Rightrdia hopes smoking is not allowed in the House chamber. Smoking should be restricted to the congressional offices.

4. More tears. Boehner is a big, and easy, crier.

Spare us the tears.

5. Golf tees will replace Nancy Pelosi's chocolates in the office
bowl.

Does anyone really care?
