RIM unveils BlackBerry Tablet for Businesses

(Sept. 27) The company that manufactures the BlackBerry, RIM, is still the dominant phone in corporate circles. RIM thinks its business customers will have room in their briefcases for at least one more device: the PlayBook.

After some hints of an impending BlackBerry tablet hit this spring, RIM took the opportunity during its keynote address at RIM DevCon to show off the BlackBerry PlayBook. RIM calls calls it the first professional tablet
