Russia is to sell around 300 MiG- and Su-family warplanes at home and abroad by 2015, Sukhoi and MiG companies said on Tuesday.
Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Thailand's Orient Thai Airlines signed on Tuesday a memorandum of intent on the delivery of 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft and an option on 12 more airliners.
The deal, which is expected to be signed at the end of 2010, would see a significant part of the Thai Airlines fleet made up of Russian-made aircraft. At present the company owns 11 McDonnell Douglas MD-80s and four Boeing-747s.
Sukhoi is set to deliver the planes between 2011-2014.
The Russian leasing company Ilyushin Finance signed on Tuesday a contract to purchase 10 An-158 planes from Ukraine's Antonov aircraft holding company with an option to buy 10 more, the companies said.
Under the deal, which was concluded at the Farnborough International Air Show near London, the planes will be supplied in 2011-2013.
The An-158 is a stretched variant of the 85-seat An-148 regional jet with a payload of 99 passengers. It has an increased takeoff weight of 43.7 tons and a maximum range of 2,500 km.
