Obama calls out GOP Senate to extend unemployment benefits

(July 19)

President Barack Obama called on Republicans Monday to stop blocking a bill that would extend unemployment benefits to millions of out of work Americans.

Unemployment insurance is very stimulative to the economy according to Moody's Economy. it works better than tax cuts, because recipients immediately spend the money to pay for groceries and bills. Tax cuts for the affluent can be banked.
