Janeane Garofalo Calls Prayer “Anti-Intellectual”

June 29th, 2010
Left-wing comedian and talk show host  criticized President Obama's speech on the gulf oil spill recently on "The Joy Behar Show," stating that his reference to God and prayer was "pandering."

The actress, who established herself as an outspoken liberal activist when the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003, said the President's mention of prayer was "a waste of time," and proceeded to call prayer "stuff" "anti-intellectual."

"It has nothing to do with what has happened," Garofalo said. "It has nothing to do with any real way to solve the problem."

Rightardia agrees with Garofalo. Intercessory prayer doesn't work and scientists have proved it. Sarah Palin even prayed with a gaggle of evangelicals for God to stop the gulf oil leak on June 20, 2010. BP finally stopped the leak on July 16, 2010.

Wirehead, who used to teach IT, would always tell his college students that he had never seen a PC or server that had been repaired by God, and that prayer would not help them in his classes.

God helps those who help themselves.
