How to report a forged Usenet post

Rightardia has already expalined to report a forged or spoofed email post in Usenet Google. It is harder to do if you use a newreader to post, but provides a more effective way of dealing with the Usenet forger.

You need to be able to find the message header or source. Copy the header or source message into the email you plan to send. In many Windows newsreaders, changing the view will reveal the header.  In Mozilla, you examine the Other Options radio button and Select the Source of the message. source radio button.

The Usenet service provider you are file the abuse complaint with may ask you fill out a brief form. Rightardia starts out with some narrative.  

The attached URL redirect users to hard corp gay porno sites. I have reported this problem to this Usenet service provider in the past. Please immediately ban the person who posted this permanently from your usenet services. Please advise the user's ISP. He/she needs to banned from the Internet due to Spam, forged Usenet headers and for the links to porn web sites.

Circumstances surrounding the post--This Usenet poster has
been forging the our web site's  header in the alt.politics and related conferences.

Intent in posting--defame the Rightardia web site

The message ID is a crucial piece of information that the Usenet provider needs to identify the Usenet forger.  If the complaint does not not deal with copyright infringement, your email will normally be addressed to abuse @usenetprovider. com. For example, SuperNews uses abuse@supernews.com.

If copyright is involved, use the DCMA address. If a hyperlink is provided to contact the Usenet provider, copy into your browser. That link will provide you with the abuse email address of the Usenet advisor.
