GOP substitute health care amendment is a joke

The Affordable Health Care for America Act to reduce health care costs, protect and increase consumers’ choices, and guarantee access to quality, affordable health care for all Americans has passed 220-215.

House Republicans put forth a substitute amendment which failed tonight by a vote of 176-258. Chairman George Miller (D-CA) on the ‘reform’ proposal:

Republicans must think Americans are ignoramuses to propose such a ludicrous bill. Conservatives just cannot say 'no' to corporations no matter how badly they misbehave.
