Media Matters gives Glen Beck its Misinformer of the Year Award

Well, this is a surprise! In the year end rush of 2009-themed lists, Media Matters has given Glenn Beck the dubious distinction of “Misinformer of the Year.”

In a 4000+ word post (!), the liberal media watchdog group criticized Beck for, among other things, “embrac[ing] violent, anti-government rhetoric,” comparing President Barack Obama to a communist, and “rejoic[ing] after America lost itd bid to host 2016 Olympics.”

Rightardia sees a diffrence between Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Beck intenitonally misiforms with a smile on his face. Limbaugh is more of an angry blowhard who offers a lot of opinion but few facts to back up his arguments.
