We do support the underdogs of America: the workers, the disenfranchised, the poor, the middle class , black, Hispanics and women.

We do not care what people do in their bedrooms. It is none of our business.

A new organization tells you exactly why they don't want gays serving in the military.

This makes perfect sense. We simply cannot have men in tutus behind enemy lines or fruit loops in the cockpit.

Why do they call it the cockpit? That sounds gay. 

Nor do we want out female soldiers, airmen, sea women or lady marines getting turned on by exquisite female bodies. That seems un-American.

Although the APA's report leaves room for a patient's religious considerations, the shift in philosophy is once again stirring this issue up in the media.

The APA stopped considering homosexuality a psychological condition  1973. Most religious institutions do not have trained psychiatrists or psychologists tp provide therapy to gay or lesbian church members. The term "therapist' is not regulated in most states and anyone can put up a shingle describing themselves as a therapist.

Our closest relatives in the animal kingdom the bonobo, engage in homosexual behaviour. This suggests homosexuality has been part of the 'human condition' for a long time.

It's best not to fool with Mother Nature particularly by religious zealots or other psycho-shaman.

Time for Obama and the Democrats to get some cojones about gays and lesbians in the Armed Services

All Obama has to do is sign an Executive Order and we have a new policy: Don't ask because it's none of your damn business. 

Get some cojones, President Obama! You are the Commander in Chief. If the general officers don't like it, tell them to resign. Most of our allies allows gays and lesbians to openly serve.

Bush planned amendments to the US Constitution on Marriage

Since these faith-based marriage amendments (see graphic) were never passed, Massachusetts has challenged the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Massachusetts was the first state in the nation to legalize gay marriage, has become the first to challenge the constitutionality of a federal law that defines marriage as the union of a man and a woman.

Massachusetts says Congress intruded into a matter that should be left to individual states.

Most Constitutional attorneys say DOMA  will be ruled unconstitutional because their is no constitutional basis for the federal government regulating marriage.

John Yoo, the infamous 'go to guy' for the Bush Administration for legal opinions on torture and the President's Surveillance Program, is expected to be one of the defense attorneys for DOMA. Click on to enlarge.
