The Raw Story: FEC warns Gingrich for paying himself with campaign funds

Newt Gingrich paid himself $88,000 in January for unspecified travel expenses.

Rightrdia suspects he was reimbursing himself  for travel to Tiffany's Jewelers to buy Callista more bling! .

Ginrich was hoping for a third comeback, but this story makes that even more unlikely.

Sheldon Adelson should give the $100 million political donation to Rick Santorum, another candidate who takes the Bibble literally.

Al Jazeera English: How will the Republican candidates create jobs?

San Pedro, CA - "We start with Romney, who released his jobs plan in September, getting a brief jump on President Obama's employment speech to Congress. Despite its title, Romney's plan is anyting but tightly focused on job creation ideas. Quite the opposite, it rambles all over the map, while including 95 separate proposals. In unveiling it, Romney claimed his plan would produce 11.5 million jobs in his first term, with average GDP growth of four per cent per year, and a reduction in the unemployment rate from the then-current 9.1 per cent to 5.9 per cent . .

These claims seem dubious, at best. No Republican president since the Great Depression has presided over a four-year term with four per cent average growth. Only Democrats have done this well (or better) - and indeed, every Democrat except Jimmy Carter managed this level of growth for at least one term."

This is an excellent article that explains the Romney and Santorum's job ideas. Rightardia agrees with the author. Republicans have been less astute in job creation than Democrats. A case in point: GW bush created 3 million new jobs during two terms and Bill Clinton created 21 million.

Republicans have been more concerned with worker productivity than job creation.  Most of GW Bush's on American labor centered around improvements to worker productivity: doing more with fewer workers.

Buzz 60: The Obama budget picks jobs

Uploaded by  on Feb 13, 2012
President Obama releases his budget today and it is dead on arrival in the House. But then so are most election year budgets. Presidents use these as campaign documents and Obama is no different, choosing to run on investing in jobs rather than cutting the deficit. Republicans think that gives them a big opening.
