Liberals tended to be sexually active longer than conservatives. The sexual lives of conservatives waned in their late 60s, while the most liberal of the men were sexually active well into their 80s. “I have consulted urologists about this,” Vaillant writes. “They have no idea why it might be so.” I imagine a few liberals would have a thing or two to offer that particular debate!
