Has the GOP become the Luddite Party?

Definition of Luddite: one of a group of early 19th century English workmen destroying laborsaving machinery as a protest; broadly : one who is opposed to especially technological change.

The GOP hasn't been fact-based for long time. it is a faith-based party that prefers scripture to scientific study. It rejects the maintsteam media and even an online encyclopedia such as Wikipedia that was founded by liberaltarian, Jimmy Wales.

Rightardia has pointed out the GOP has created an alternative universe that Jon Stuart calls Bull Sh** mountain.

This finally bit the GOP in the proverbial keister in the 2012 election. The GOP was using a traditional election approach with voter registration handled by blue haired seniors. In contrast, the Democratic Party was enrolling new voters with machine like precision.

David Ploufe was running a huge data mining effort and was had been studying precincts for two years using an intensive online data mining operation that even drove political ads.
