Rightardia has been talking about this for more than a year. Now even Republicans are aware of it. Florida has its own assortment of nuts and bolts, too.
Allen West immediately comes to mind.
Is Rightardia calling Republicans--Nazis. No, American fascism is different but the authoritarianism and desire for group think and ideological purity is apparent.
Religion is also a big factor and the GOP has been working with the Evangelical and fundamentalist churches since the first term of GW Bush.
Rightardia thinks this started with Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh. We don't think it will end until the GOP suffers a series of severe election losses.
That may be a problem in itself. Plenty of people are still voting for these extremists.
