Huffington Post: Mitt Romney's 2002 Olympics Outsourced Uniforms To Burma
At the time of the 2002 Olympics, Burma was called Myanmar. The government was a brutal fascist dictatorship.
There were several US statutes and executive orders prohibiting trade with Myanmar.
The US did little trade with Myanmar until sanctions were eased in July 2012.
Mittens would have needed a State Department waiver or to have used the auspices of a company who had a waiver to purchase Olympic uniforms from Burma.
The GOp would be samrt to draft a new candidte in Tampa. A revised quote form The Knight's Tale explains why
Mitt, you have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. In what world could you possibly beat Obama?
