Will Rogers on "trickle up"


The middle calls and the poor have liitle choice to spend most of what they earn to pay mortgages and rentals, auto loans, buy groceries and purchase other necessities.

This is why programs like Food Stamps (SNAP) and unemployment compensation are an effective use of tax dollars that have a multiplier effect.

Tax cuts in the past have concentrated wealth at the top and the money sits idly in a bank account or is converted to gold and hidden in a vault.
