NewsDaily: Florida voting rules discriminate,DOJ says



NewsDaily (2012-06-23) -- New rules in Florida that cut back on early voting hours unfairly burden the state's minorities, U.S. Justice Department lawyers argued on Thursday.


Some Democratic observers have suggested The GOP congress is angry at Attorney General Eric Holder for going after 30 states that are tinkering with voting rights to suppress minority voting. Holder has been successful so far in reigning in voter suppression.
