Jobs data is marginal

The recovery is stalling with the US adding just 115,000 new positions in April, far less than expected.

The unemployment rate fell to 8.1% but this figure looks better than it is because many long term unemployed have dropped off of the Labor Department's radar.

The magic number for Obama may be 150,000 jobs per month to win reelection according to some labor analysts.
