Far Left Side Chart of the Day: Deficit Projections since 2001

It should be clear that most of the deficit was inherited from the Bush administration via the Bush tax cuts, the Iraq War and the Bush unfunded initiative: Medicare Part D.

The GOP will tray to portray the economic stimulus as a deficit buster, but that is a big exaggeration.
