Dharun Ravi unrepentant after conviction for hate crime

Former Rutgers student Dharun Ravi was in denial in the ABC News video. he claimed that he didn't spy on his roommate with a video camera or post it on the Internet. His attorney tried to use a "jerky kid" defense and Ravi was confident he would dodge the charges.

Rightardia thought Ravi was ill advised not to take a plea deal with 600 hours of community service. Had he accepted the plea by pleading guilty, INS would have started a deportation hearing on him after trail.

Ravi was convicted on multiple counts and is expected to get a two-three year sentence, after which he will be deported.

Some Rightardians who watched the interview said Ravi was not repentant and the young man repeatedly denied that he had done anything wrong.

Rightrdia thinks justice prevailed and we have little sympathy for  Dharun Ravi.
