The US mainland was virtually untouched during World War 2 while the Russians took casualties in the 10s of millions.

Yet, a decade after 911, right wingers are still gnashing their teeth

Just imagine if an entire city had been wiped out in the US like Dresden in Germany or Nagasaki in Japan!

Americans needs to get a more mature view about war. War is an expensive proposition, thousands die and lately the Us hasn't won any wars.

Many Americans are naive about the real costs of war.
