ABC News sought details about the candidate's holdings in the Cayman Islands, a notorious offshore tax haven for tax evaders.

A major tax scandal with the Swiss UBS bank started in the Cayman Islands and an agreement is still being worked out with the IRS and UBS in the courts.

Romney is clearly the candidate of the 1 per cent. Romney now owns three homes, but he sold off two prior to running for president.
