Business Insider: " The 14 Most Corrupt Members Of Congress"

The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) compiled a list of the most corrupt politicians in Washington. Rep. Vern Buchanan who lives in Sarasota made the list. 

Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL)

Representative Vern Buchanan (R-FL) has served two-terms in Congress. He represents Florida’s 13th district which contains Sarasota, FL.  

He pressuring his auto dealership employees to make contributions to his campaign committee and also improperly used corporate resources for campaign purposes.

Rep. Buchanan was also included in CREW’s 2008 report on congressional corruption.
