The GOP is concerned about voter fraud because it has been committing it for years. A case in point:
Newt Gingrich recently told a crowd in an Iowa chocolate shop that the reason his campaign's 11,100 signatures weren't ruled admissable was because "we hired somebody who turned in false signatures.
Gingrich said:
We turned in 11,100 -- we needed 10,000 -- 1,500 of them were by one guy who frankly committed fraud.
In the Scott Walker recall in Wisconsin , Republicans have claimed petitons have been signed by Micky Mouse and Adolf Hitler. Supposedly one person signed a petiton 80 times. In addition, GOP operatives were destroying pertitions which is a felony.
Perhaps the GOP should reconsider casting the first stone about voter fraud.
