Bloomberg: Buy a piece of a pro football team
Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The Green Bay Packers, the only publicly owned franchise in U.S. sports, are seeking to raise $62.5 million with their fifth stock sale starting today.
Shares cost $250 dollars and are available via mail or online at PackersOwner.com.
The franchise won its fourth Super Bowl in February and is the only undefeated team in the National Football League this season.
Eben Novy-William reports on Bloomberg Television's "Money Moves."
The Packers are the one team that the 1 per cent does not own.
