Intrade suggests this may not happen, However, Intrade predictions change rapidly as election day approaches.
The situation for the Democrats in the Senate may be more dire. Republicans are predicting they will take the Senate.
So even if Democrats take the House, we are back to Square One if the Democrats lose the Senate.
Obama never played well with his base after the 2008 election and many progressive and union people will not campaign for him or contribute money to the OFA or for that matter, even the DNC.
There is also the huge independent Occupy movement and it does not support the president either.
If a third party movement starts that can consolidate unions, progressives and Occupiers, Obama could be defeated. Perhaps this is the wake-up call the Democratic Party needs.
Obama should have reformed federal taxes while he had the chance. Instead Democrats dithered with health care for a year. The Democrats never challenged or countered the Tea Party.
Rightardia got bored with naive talk about bipartisanship. It should have been clear after three months that wasn't going to happen.
Screw bipartisanship. Rightardia wanted to see some red meat results and Republicans eating crow.
