Sarah Palin was supposed to be the Tea Party's choice for Republican presidential candidate. But now it has a new darling -- Michelle Bachmann. Bachmann's hard-right conservativism is winning over evangelical Republicans. She now leads the Iowa straw poll. Although Bachmann is now running as a fiscal conservative, she was once best known as a social conservative activist, comparing homosexuality to Satan.
Her husband is a therapist that performs gay to straight conversions upon request. Sex advice columnist Dan Savage is enraged by the Bachmanns. He insists that Marcus Bachmann is secretly gay. The question is, if Michelle Bachmann does get the Republican nomination, is she electable?
