Steven Hawking: The heaven myth

In an interview published in The Guardian newspaper, the Stephan Hawking says the human brain is a like a computer. The brain will stop working when its components fail.

Hawking says: "There is no heaven or afterlife for broken-down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark."

In his book "Grand Design," Hawking had declared that it was "not necessary to invoke God ... to get the universe going."

Rightardia agrees. Early priests and shaman like the government wanted control and created  elaborate after life myths. After you pay you taxes, you come to the temple or church, make an offering and as long as you were in the good graces of the priests when you died, they would help you get to paradise.

What is the unforgivable sin in Christianity, murder, rape or incest? No, it is blasphemy, According to Wikipedia, Blasphemy is irreverence toward holy personages, religious artifacts, customs, and beliefs,

Rightardia laughed at all of jokes about Osama Bin Laden's 72 virgins that were waiting fro him in hell. How can people believe such nonsense. We wonder how many people have died believing such a foolish notion.

Christian organizations have become sales organizations in which the religious leaders engage in cults of personalities.

The heaven myth is key to a churches power over people because only the church can guarantee the soul's entry into heaven. if you don't buy into the heaven myth, you really don't need to worry about that other religious myth: the soul.
