FactCheck.org, an Annenberg project,  has won the 2011 Webby Award in the Politics category. Known as "the Oscars of the Internet," the Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

This is their third Webby — it won last year and in 2008. Other finalists for best Politics site were the New York Times, NPR, Politico and PoliPulse, a site from the public affairs firm Powell Tate.
The Webby People’s Voice award, which went to NPR. This ends FactCheck's run as a four-time winner of the People’s Voice award for 2007-2010.
Rightardia is partisan but we are also fact-based. It's great some honest brokers are out there like Factcheck and Politifact. Something was needed to counter biased news media like Fox news and talk radio. Politifact is operated by the St. Petersburg Times.
