Did Todd Palin have a love child?

The National Enquirer says that Todd has an illegitimate child.

According to the Immoral Majority blog:

. . .yes there are stories about Todd having fathered a child during his marriage to Sarah, that did NOT issue from her loins. 

Is the gossip based on facts?  Well when we get into that territory(,)  things get a little murkier.

I first heard about this story more than a year and half ago.  It came from a trusted source, but I was cautioned against pursuing it as only a handful of people knew, and they were afraid it might get back to them . . .
