Media Matters: Protestors chant "Fox Lies" and "Tell the Truth"

On the February 18 edition of Your World, protesters chanted "Fox lies" and "Tell the Truth" during correspondent Fox News live coverage on the labor protests in Madison.

During the segment, guest host Chris Cotter stated, "Well, I'll tell you, Jeff, those folks protesting Fox -- I'm wondering if they would prefer a state-run television network providing all the coverage."

Fox News suggested that "professional agitators were disrupting their broadcast and that phony doctors were handing out medical excuses for teachers.

The voice over suggest later the doctor didn't know how the public would react to the gratis work excuses, suggesting the doctors were real MDs. [Fox News, Your World, 2/18/11]

Actually, PBS does a better job than Fox News because it is impartial.  Rightardia doubts that the doctors passing out the medical excuses were concerned about bad press.
