Democrats for Sarah Palin

This is a real RNC slide

Virginia Tea Party Patriots leader Jamie Radtke went after the Republicans during an address to the Senate Tea Party caucus.

Radtke said,

The Tea Party movement would not exist today if the Republicans had not failed under the Bush years.

The GOP has two factions: the country club Republicans and the True Believers. The GOP is even aware of this dichotomy when some RNC slides were discovered in a hotel room and the media got a copy.

GW Bush and George HW Bush are the blue blood country club Republicans. So is Mitt Romney.

They are driven by self-interest and ego. These are the people who have the 'me rooms and the "walls of fame" in their homes or offices. They are the party insiders. These people are the rank: the major donors.

The file are the in-the-box 'true believers and the 'emotionals (EMO's).' Until recently they had faith in the GOP until GW Bush crashed and burned.

The leaders of the 'true believers" are eccentrics like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann. The "true believers" are usually white, religious, under-educated and working class.

Want an example? Try "Joe the Plumber!"

Much of the rhetoric of Palin and Bachmann is "wild and crazy" but the "true believers and the party EMOs love these two wingnuts.

Because of the dichotomy in the GOP between the country clubbers, the Democrats would be wise to exploit this division. Democrats should help the "true believers and EMOs form a third party.

Democrats may want to register as Republicans to make sure Sarah Palin is the GOP nominee in 2012.

Most Democrats and country club Republicans know that Palin is not electable. It would be an easy victory for Obama.

Eat your heart out, Rush Limbaugh!
