Oh yes, the GOP is so strict constructionist. Except for the

The 16th Amendment, for the income tax,that the Tea Baggers want repealed.
The 17th Amendment. he GOP wants the appointment of Senators by the state legislatures rather than a direct election.
The 26th Amendment gives 18 year olds the right to vote. The GOP would also like a provision so that only people who own their homes can vote.
The Republicans also want the 14th Amendment repealed so "anchor babies" can't vote. Guess why? Two of three Hispanics in the US vote Democratic.
