GW Bush's "virtual fence" white elephant scrapped
We got 53 miles of virtual fence for $1 billion. The total cost of the Bush initiative would have been $6 billlion. The Obama administration cut thier losses for this "white elephant."
Wired reports Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano wants some aspects of the virtual fence coupled with other ‘proven’ technology.
