Will the real femi-Nazi please stand up!

The GOP has given up an minorities and will actively court female voters in the 2010 elections. And who is better to do that than the 'Chilla form Wasilla,' Sarah Palin.

Rightrdia doesn't think Glen Beck's efforts to rewrite the civil right movement will impress blacks or the GOP efforts to send immigrants packing will help them with Hispanics and Latinos.

Flashing back to the 2008 elections, a big fight went on between the Obama and Clinton camps. Many of the female supporters of Hillary Clinton were hugely disappointed she lost.

John McCain was fighting an uphill battle against the charismatic Obama. What to do?

At the 11th hour, the McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. Many political analysts thought she was an odd choice.

The GOP hoped to pick-up the disaffected Clinton supports called PUMAs , most of who were female. The PUMAs were still smarting from Hillary's primary defeat.

The 'Hail Mary' play didn't work. Palin wasn't ready for prime time, made continuous gaffes, got lots of bad publicity from people who knew her in Alaska and came across as a disloyal vice presidential candidate  who couldn't follow the GOP game plan. She was a disaster for John McCain.

In fact, the term 'Wassila Hillbillies" came out of the McCain campaign ranks.

Palin has endorsed more women candidates than male according to the Washington Post.
This is unusual. There are a record number of women in the 112th US Congress, but that is only 13 ladies. There are actually more women in the US Senate: 17.

It is clear Palin is hoping to attract female voters in the 2010 election.

However, the pro-Life stance of the GOP, the resistance to health care reform and a host of other issues that conservatives support that are anti-feminist and not likely to endure the GOP to female voters.

Rightardia is also aware that the majority of campaign workers in the Obama campaign were female.

So who is the real femi-Nazi?

That would surely be Sarah Palin!
