Is the US the greatest county in the world?

According to the CIA Fact Book and the World Trade Organization (WTO), the EU has  a higher nominal GDP than the US.

We are not first in per capita either, but we are in the top 10 according to CIA and the International Monetary fund (IMF).

Where is the best country to live? According to International Living: France. France  also has the best health care system in the world according to the World Health Organization.

What about the environment? The US is 61st in 2010 Environmental Performance Index.

Then there is the Legatum Prosperity Index. The US comes in ninth which is one of its better showings.

How about The Happy Planet Index. We place 114th out of  143 nations. That's not so hot, it is?

We do great in the overweight index. We are third in the world, a dubious distinction.

In the Corruption Index, we are 18th in the world.

In the Happiness Index, we are 50th. We make a lot of money in the US. but many nations are a lot happier.

In the Human Development Index, we are ranked 13th overall.

How is tax revenue as  percentage of GDP? The US is around 28 per cent, the second lowest of the industrial nations of the world. Only Red china is lower.

Is the US the greatest country in the world? Rightardia doesn't think so, but this question is so abstract it is almost meaningless.

Conservatives need to stop kidding themselves that the US is the greatest country in the world. The US need a lot of improvement in the workplace and its infrastructure.
